Professor Olufunmilayo Ibitola Fawole is responsible for the ALAMINE program in Nigeria, working closely with policymakers at national and subnational levels, as well as with international non-governmental organizations and community groups. In this role, her responsibilities include leading initiatives to improve public health through prevention, control, and strengthening of the healthcare system.
In addition to her leadership role, she holds the position of Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health at the Faculty of Public Health, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan. She is also an honorary consultant at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. Passionate about developing future leaders in public health, Professor Olufunmilayo is committed to making meaningful contributions to the advancement of public health.
