Strengthening the Community System: Building a High-Performing VHT Network for Malaria-Free Communities
Join us for an engaging session in the ALAMIME Alumni Webinar Series as we examine strategies for strengthening community health systems through building a high-performing Village Health Team (VHT) network to support malaria-free communities. This webinar will highlight the critical role of VHTs in malaria prevention, diagnosis, referral, and community engagement, with a focus on improving performance, coordination, and sustainability at the community level.
The session will share practical experiences and lessons from district-level implementation, exploring how effective supervision, capacity building, and integration of VHTs into the broader health system can enhance malaria control and elimination efforts. Participants will gain insights into strengthening community-based systems as a foundation for resilient and responsive malaria programs.
