About The Event
Strengthening Community Mobilization for Improved Uptake of Malaria Prevention, Testing and Treatment Services
Community engagement remains a cornerstone of effective malaria control and elimination efforts. While significant progress has been made in scaling up malaria interventions, gaps still exist in the uptake of preventive measures, timely testing, and access to appropriate treatment. Strengthening community mobilization is therefore critical to ensuring that malaria services reach those who need them most.
Join us for an insightful session in the ALAMIME Alumni Webinar Series as we explore how community mobilization strategies can enhance the uptake of malaria prevention, testing, and treatment services. This webinar will examine approaches for engaging community leaders, strengthening health education, promoting behavior change, and improving trust between communities and health systems.
Participants will gain practical insights into how malaria programs can leverage community structures, partnerships, and communication strategies to improve service utilization and support more responsive malaria control efforts. The session will be particularly valuable for malaria program managers, community health practitioners, researchers, and public health professionals working to strengthen community-driven malaria interventions.
